2.13 2.3 to 2.4 upgrade

These are the upgrade instructions for when you have currently Daisy 2.3 installed.

2.13.1 Review compatibility notes

Review the compatibility notes.

2.13.1.1 Preparation

Don't start upgrading right away, read the whole page until you understand you are acqainted with the terminology and until you understand all steps.
Also, it's a Very Good Idea to collect some crucial information beforehand:

• Credentials for a Daisy user with the Administrator role.
• Credentials for the jmx console
• Credentials for mysql
• Paths: DAISY_HOME, repository-data directory, wiki-data directory
• Make sure you can connect to the jmx console. See this page for more information about connecting to the jmx console.
